The third annual Extra Life Chicago Gaming Convention (ELCGC), an interactive charity event hosted by Lurie Children’s, is almost here! As the first charity gaming convention in the Chicago area, ELCGC is designed to bring together gamers, community partners and hospital supporters to raise funds for Lurie Children’s.

• Date: Saturday, March 8, 2025
• Location: Sheraton Lisle-Naperville in Lisle, IL – 3000 Warrenville Road, Lisle, IL
• Tickets Include: Admission & food and drinks all day.
Event Highlights
• Play and Compete: Enjoy a wide variety of games including arcade, video, and tabletop. Participate in exciting tournaments or play games all day for fun!
• Interactive Fun: Experience magic shows, meet Lurie Children’s patient champions, take part in Dungeons & Dragons one-shots, and play Free N’ Fun Bingo!
• Engage in Your Artistic Side: Paint your first mini with guided instruction from one of Extra Life Chicago guild leaders and make friendship bracelets for the patients of Lurie Children’s.
• Cosplay Groups and Competition: Register for our cosplay competition, hosted by our superhero patients from Lurie Children’s and meet the Midwest Regiment of the 405th and Windy City Ghostbusters!
• Vendor and Artist Booths: Shop for gaming and pop culture items at our vendor booths and connect with local community vendors who are excited to support Lurie Children’s.
All proceeds from ELCGC benefit the over 220,000 patients and families served annually by Lurie Children’s.
