Kyle Schwarber Swings Big, Wins MVP in First-Ever All-Star Home Run Showdown
Kyle Schwarber is back in the spotlight — and he’s swinging for the fences.
The former Chicago Cubs slugger, now with the Phillies, won the 2025 MLB All-Star Game MVP after crushing it in a first-ever home run swing-off.
The game ended in a 6-6 tie after nine innings, so the MLB debuted a wild tiebreaker: each league picked three batters to take three swings.
As for Schwarber?
Went 3-for-3, all homers, and carried the National League to victory.
Talk about clutch. The man made MLB history and reminded Chicago why his name still hits hard.
