Remember When Metallica Played As A Ramones Cover Band?

It was back in 2002 when Metallica was working on their St. Anger album, which was a reorganization phase for the band. James, Kirk and Lars... along with producer Bob Rock piled the amps into a small San Francisco club called Kimo's and were billed as SPUN, a Ramones cover band.

True to the billing, the band played a set of Ramones covers. James had to sit down for the whole set since he was recovering from neck surgery.

4 songs in 11 minutes... that's punk!

The Setlist:

  1. Commando
  2. Today Your Love, Tomorrow The World
  3. 53rd and 3rd
  4. I Just Wanna Sniff Some Glue
