New Noise Playlist 9.3.23

How was your Labor Day weekend? Plenty of heat! And lots for great new rock!

Here's what you heard this week on New Noise, your weekly hour of new music!

We started with the new new one from Filter! They cranked up the amps at Credit Union 1 Amphitheater on Friday. They only had time for 6 songs, but one of them came from their new album The Algorithm. "Obliteration" kicked of the show this week.

Also on stage Friday night at CU1, guitar slayer Nita Strauss, who plays guitar with Alice Cooper. But she also has her own music like "Victorious" which features vocals from Dorothy, and is climbing the rock charts now.

Greta Van Fleet has come a long way from when they played Austin's Fuel Room in Libertyville in May of 2017. Wednesday night, they will park the buses outside Allstate Arena for a big rock show supporting their new album Starcatcher. I played you the current single "The Falling Sky"!

THere are quite a few genres trying to claim the Italian band Maneskin for their own. After seeing them at Lolla last summer, I think they are a solid rock band. THey will bring their Rush tour to Allstate Arena at the end of the month and just dropped a new single to get us hyped. I added "Honey (Are You Coming)" to the New Noise playlist..

And after climbing the charts for months, Avatar has finally claimed the top spot with "The Dirt I'm Buried In". They will be at Hard Rock LIve in Gary to play it opening for In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills on November 3rd.

Plust Metallica, Foo Fighters, and new Guns N' Roses. A solid hour of new rock!

Hope you found something new to like.

I'll deliver another hour of New Noise Sunday night at 9! Join Me!
