One of the best things about coming to the end of the weekend... alright... the only good thing... is you get an hour of new music!
Kicked off the show tonight with the new one from Nita Strauss who is normally ripping riffs for Alice Cooper (and occasionally Demi Levato) but here she is on her own with vocals from another female powerhouse, Dorothy! "Victorious" is a great song for the Summer!
Bring Me The Horizon continues to build their fanbase in the states (they already play arenas in the UK) hitting the road with Fall Out Boy for the rest of their tour this summer while thier current single "LosT" is climbing the rock chart!
If you listen to the show, then you know I'm a big fan of Seattle guitarist Ayron Jones! He just dropped a new album called Chronicles of the Kid. I love the swagger and emotion in the lead single "Blood In The Water".
The Rock chart has been stuck for the past 6 weeks or so. Foo Fighters continue to hold off Metallica with the first single from But Here We Are. "Rescued" holding on the the top spot, but I still worked in Metallica's "72 Seasons" which continues to wait patiently at number 2.
More new music Sunday night at 9. Hope you'll hang with me for New Noise!
