The perfect way to wrap up a beautiful weekend... cranking up some New Noise!
I hope you're enjoying this weekly dive into what's new in rock. It's always been my passion to turn people on to new music.
We started this week with the new one from Muse. The English trio will kick off their North American arena tour here at the United Center on Saturday with Evanescence opening. They always deliver an amazing show and believe me when i tell you, Matt Bellamy is a modern day guitar hero! Check out the new album Will Of The People and you'll hear this track "Kill or Be Killed".
We have a new song at number 1 on the chart!! After what seems like a 3 month hold on the top spot, Metallica slides to number 2 and Starset with Breaking Benjamin and "Waiting For The Sky To Change" sit at the top of the Rock chart! This song has been building for months and it finally took down Goliath!
This meant I could also play the other new song from Metallica's 72 Seasons album which drops on April 14th. Last night was the New Noise premiere of "Screaming Suicide" which has some seriously great lyrics. James Hetfield evolves the narrative as the song progresses.
Congrats to Falling In Reverse. They just scored their first song to make the Billboard Hot 100! I love how "Watch The World Burn" builds from electronic... to big guitars! Quite the journey!
I also hit the new one from Ozzy, Linkin Park, Godsmack (who's new album is out on Friday) and Alter Bridge!
