In this Episode of "Employers Should Listen to Their Workers"...

With the labor market in such a precarious position as it is, you'd think employers would care to listen to their employees more.

Kevin Berling has an anxiety disorder, and very specifically asked that his company not throw him a birthday party because of it. Aaaannnnddd you can guess how that went over.

Not only did they throw the party, which Kevin fled to soothe his panic attack in his car, they FIRED HIM FOR OVERREACTING.

Sorry about your mental health, employees, but you're actually not entitled to your emotions -Kevin's company, apparently.

Don't worry, Kevin sued the ever living crap out of them, and won $450k. How's that for a reaction?

Of course the company says they weren't trying to be mean, they just "forgot his request." Yeah, fine, but you fired him sooooo????
