Happy Monday!
Did you watch the Grammys last night? It seemed like the role of rock was played by the country artists. Where was the rock? Foo Fighters win 3 Grammys and none of it was televised. I get if the band didn't want to be there, but at least honor them with the awards on TV. We had Lenny and Travis Barker... and that was about it for rock.
It was good to see love for Taylor Hawkins. Nice segment to start the In Memoriam section... but someone was left out. Where was Joey Jordison from Slipknot? He has to be one of the most influential drummers of a generation, and he was omitted from the montage. The Grammys really hate rock don't they.
So we paid tribute on The Setlist, finishing it up with Slipknot's "Duality"! We remember!
Congrats to Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park who won a Grammy for his remix of Deftone's "Passenger" for the White Pony remix album. Added "Change (In The House of Flies)" on the Setlist as well.
We'll build another one tomorrow!
