Breaking Fuggin News: Parents Stressed About Holiday Travel with Kids

Not that we needed surveys to tell us this, but turns out parents are not thrilled about the idea of traveling with their kiddos over the holiday season.

Look, kids are awesome. Being asked "are we there yet" 20 times over a 4-hour journey is not awesome.

Then you're like, "hey don't do that. It doesn't make the ride go faster and just annoys us which makes your life more difficult, too."

But, see, you're raising a version of yourself and so they are a smartass and change it up from, "are we there yet?" to "How long until we get there?"

And then you stare. You just stare at them.

And they stare at you.

And you stare at them.

And they stare at you.

Because they know. They know what they're doing. They know they're slowly breaking you down, bit by bit, until you are too emotionally exhausted to be able to fight anymore.

Children are miniature psychopaths that win their fights by slowly eroding your mental stability. They'll throw some backhanded compliments in there too, like, "I love when mom drives."

Now you're pitted against your spouse. Because why don't they like it when he drives? What's wrong with his driving?

And before you know it you're on Aunt Rita's doorstep with a bottle of cheap wine, two happy kids, and new marital resentment.

Happy Holidays!
