The Miss America Pageant people say they're no longer focusing on beauty, but rather their contestants' "wellness" and "health."
What an absolute crock.
What are you gonna do, time their mile? check their food diaries? Don't tell me; bikini-clad wellness exams?
So this means we'll have women larger than a size 4 represented, right? Short women? Disabled women? Until the answer to every single one of those questions is answered, it's still an absolutely shallow beauty pageant. Full stop.
