Anita Harris is suing Kellogg Sales Company over its Strawberry Poptarts (ultra-controversial opinion: my favorite poptarts are unfrosted, untoasted strawberry. Yes, my parents are INSANELY white and that's just how I've had them since childhood and now I can't have them any other way. Except now I also like the brown sugar maple one. Which I know is also controversial. What tf were we talking about?) saying they're violating the Illinois Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act for essentially exaggerating the nutritional value and amount of strawberries.
Which begs the f*cking question: who is buying poptarts for their nutritional value? Her argument is that it preys upon people who are trying to become more health conscience.
I... don't know where to begin. If you're in the poptart aisle at all, you've thrown healthy out the window.
Which is cool with me, no judgement, I have cereal for every meal of the day and I'm rotting inside.
If only there were something... strawberry flavored... that was healthy... maybe, with how far technology has come, it could even look and feel like a strawberry.
Alas, to be so lucky.
