Last time the 17 year cicadas came out, I was living in the DC area and they were everywhere! You couldn't walk outside without crunching on one of them.
There's not as many in Chicago so if you're feeling left out, a candy company in Maryland will help you get your own cicadas!
Chouquette Chocolates has taken some of the surplus insects which have been frozen, boiled, coated in oil and spices and then covered in milk or dark chocolate! Yuck!!
