After several sexual misconduct allegations against James Franco came to light, Seth Rogen is now saying he will no longer work with the actor. He told the Sunday Times,
What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment, and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that
This is what we need. Not that Seth should be given a cookie and a pat on the head, but we need this. It shouldn't take legal ramifications. It shouldn't take further abuse. If your female colleagues, peers, friends, etc. are all creeped out by a dude, that dude is weird. That's it. There's no, "oh they just don't understand him" or "he's just weird and socially awkward." If all the women around you are saying he's a creep, then he's a f*cking creep and you should listen. YOU probably don't understand him. Because he's not targeting you. He's not trying to get into your pants. So he's not showing the creep behavior to you because why would he??
