It appears Billie Joe Armstrong has filed the paperwork required to run for President in the 2024 General Election. The kicker? He'd be running as a republican. A major troll move from the singer who is very outspoken about his left wing views. Armstrong also put down Green Day as his official principal campaign committee.
Is anything really going to come from this? Doubtful. Literally anyone can fill out that paperwork (go ahead. Do it. Freak out all your friends and family.) but we hope they at least make it some sort of promotional bit so we can get a kick out of it.
