Bon Jovi's Phil X Rig Rundown

While our boy Ritchie has been out of the Bon Jovi traveling circus for a while now, guitarists extraordinaire Phil X and John Shanks give the boys at Premier Guitar their very cool rundowns of the live rigs they used several years ago (2017) while touring with the New Jersey vocalist.

You might be surprised to see what a truly professional guitarist uses to create their signature live sound. It is a tricky business to push amazing tone while still filling a stadium, yet paying homage to the original recordings.

Phil, who sounds like he is from the beach in California.. but is actually from Canada, has a very fun Framus Guitar that he customized with a Wolverine figurine and some stickers from an incredibly talented local company known for their awesome stage wear - Wornstar. I personally love the people at Wornstar and highly recommend their clothing for both stage and street. In fact, I only wear Wornstar pants when I play live.. because rock and roll is all about fancy pants.

Other guitar nerds might be specifically intrigued by his old Marshall JMP that has a piece of his fathers old grill on the front. He says that it still smells like goat when the transformer starts to overheat.

You can check out the good people at Wornstar and get yourself some fancy pants at their website: Wornstar Website
