"Self destructor" is the lead single off the band's upcoming album NIRATIAS due to be released March 5th this year
Although the song seems to capture the insanity of 2020, it was actually written in 2019
According to frontman Pete Loeffler, the lyrics have to do with "science deniers"
The band says both the cover artwork and the album itself are very space-themed
