Bass Pro Scissor Lift(Portage)

I gotta be honest, I didn't even look at the rest of today's Missed Connections because "Bass Pro Scissor Lift" is legitimately the best title one could ever come up with for these.
I also never knew they were called "scissor lifts" so I even learned something. But per usual, I have questions.
How can someone give you attention while they're up on a lift? Were they shout-flirting down? Was it a physical show of some sort?
How would this person have gone up to talk to the lift operator? It's not like those things have a set of stairs to climb up. Although, pulling yourself up that thing would be impressive, and may work on the right person.
But finally, why? If you're going to be back Monday anyway, why post?
But also don't hit on people while they're working. Just don't do it.
