• It's the musical project of Wolfgang Van Halen (son of the late Eddie Van Halen)
• "Mammoth" is a tribute to Van Halen, as it was originally what they called themselves
• Though "Distance" is about Eddie's passing, it was written while Wolfie was trying to cope with his impending loss. Eddie said it was one of his favorites of his son's songs, and he cried when he heard it.
• Before going solo, Wolfie was the bassist for Van Halen from 2007 to 2012, and subsequently for the heavy metal band Tremonti
• Wolfgang plays every instrument on "Distance"
• All proceeds Distance's single sales go to the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation
