Chicago Updates Travel Restrictions WIth Color-Coded Map

Well, looks like we're moving backwards. With Illinois reporting 12,693 new cases today with 79 deaths, it's not surprising to get new travel restrictions.

The city is moving to a new color-coded 3 tier map offering new guidelines.

Yellow - These are states with a rolling 7-day average less than 15 cases per day per 100,000 residents. No quarantine or pre-travel test required.

Orange - These are states with a 7-day rolling average of 15 cases/day/100k residents. People from these states will need to quarantine for 14 days or have a pre-arrival negative test no more than 72 hours before arrival.

Red - These states have the highest cases/day/100k residents. 14 day quarantine is required.

Wear a mask. Practice social distancing. I know we're all tired of the pandemic but we have to keep at it a little while longer.
